A man died Thursday morning after a shooting in Denver’s City Park West neighborhood.The shooting was reported in the 1700 block of North Race Street, according to a 7:23 a.m. tweet from the Denver Police Department.UPDATE: The victim in this incident has been pronounced deceased and this is now being investigated as a homicide. A man was fatally stabbed on a Metro Green Line train in Hawthorne Wednesday evening, but not before shooting his alleged assailant in the chest.The unidentified victim, a man believed to be in his early to mid 20s, died at a local hospital after deputies found him "suffering from apparent stab wounds to the upper torso" on a train at the Crenshaw Station at about 7:20 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. More than 700,000 vehicles are stolen in any given year in the U.S., but not all cars are equal targets. The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) analyzed federal crime data to determine which cars and trucks were most frequently reported stolen in 2022. Two pickup trucks landed at the top. A homeless man suspected of hiding in a restroom and recording women while they were using the bathroom was arrested by police in Riverside Wednesday.Officers responded to the reports at a Kaiser Permanente hospital around noon and found the suspect being detained by hospital security. Multi-Traffic Collision near Tully Road Resulted in InjuriesSAN JOSE, CA (August 3, 2023) – Early Monday morning, a four-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 101 left at least three people with injuries.The San Jose Fire Department responded to the incident around 5:12 a.m. between Tully Road and Capitol Expressway.At this time, the circumstances that led up to the crash are unclear. However, the wreckage blocked all six lanes of Southbound 101. Police also reported that the collision involved four vehicles.In the end, medical responders transported three patients to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
